I think the idea of displaying certain object attributes in the form of a symbol is a very good idea. I have tried it and it works except that the symbols are far too small when you use custom symbols. No matter how large I make the orginal symbol using the ARIS symbol editor, it always displays as a miniscule item too small to be useful. Where is the size of the displayed symbol controlled? Does anyone know?

Try to save symbol in *.amf format, not *.emf

Thanks for the response. However, I was using .amf format. It is the only format my version of the ARIS Symbol editor 7.1 supports. Any other ideas?

Hi Sam,

if you use user defined attribute symbols then they inherit their size from their original symbol (as it is done for object symbols as well). So you can try to add a new symbol for "Maintained attribute (large)" (ST_MAINTAINED_ATTR_LARGE) for example.
