Hello,
Is there a way to have the functionality "Export .bpmn" in ARIS v9 for no administrator users?
how can I have only this functionality without the administrator license?
Script?
Thank U in advance.
Abdel
Hello M.Zschukelt,
Thank U for your response.
In fact, all what I need is to give a user the ability to do this function, but without giving him the other functions like (create user, delete users, ...).
And I think, that if I give him the ARIS Architect Licence, we will be able to export but at the same time to administrate, No?
Thank U in advance for your response.
Abdel
Dear Abdel,
Please check ARIS help about
- Functional privileges: http://localhost/abs/help/en/handling/ba/index.htm#97018.htm
- License privileges: http://localhost/abs/help/en/handling/ba/index.htm#56129.htm
- Administrator roles: http://localhost/abs/help/en/handling/ba/index.htm#34693.htm
These links to the ARIS help are of ARIS 9.8 GA.

Hello Abdel,
an ARIS Architect user does not have administrative privileges, unless you grant him special "Function Privileges" via the UMC or declare him to be a "system" user on the database. User administration is not done via the ARIS Architect client at all, but in the UMC. In ARIS Architect you grant privileges on groups in the database to user groups and users (previously defined in UMC), but only, if you have the database function privilege "User management". The assignment of function privileges is independent of the ARIS Architect license (most of them have a particular license as a prerequisite, but the license itself does not grant the privilege automatically).
There are Function Privileges on tenant level and on database level. See chapters 4.12.2 and 4.12.3 in the ARIS Server Installation and Administration Guide for more details.
