Aris Express models to Aris

This is already possible with the latest version (service release 5/2010) of ARIS.

What is the current version of ARIS Express?  When I try to import into ARIS professional (SR5) I get the message that my ADF file is from an older version.  Maybe my ARIS express is not updating?

Hi Donald,

take a look at the about dialog of ARIS Express. You should see:

If you are running an older version and it doesn't update automatically, your company network is probably blocking the download connection. It is the same what happens when people can't install AEX because of problems with proxy configuration.

On the other hand, if you are running this version, but can't import the file, than the file was probably created with a prior version. In that case, just open the file in AEX again and save it to update it to the current file format.

There is a pending of import of .adf-files to the server database. To local database it loads normally.

The version of a server 7.1.0.384599, the client - 7.1.0.452596. Probably, do we need to update the server version?

I am currently using the ARIS Business Architect version 7.1.0.317766, can I have the capabaility to import the models created by using ARIS Expresss?

Please let me know, if I need to upgrade my ARIS Business Architect?

This possibility has appeared in version 7.1.0.452596. Besides, if you wish to do the import to a server database, you need also to update ARIS Business Server to version 7.1.0.452596.
