Hi All.
I have a custom Report that is returning the message "Program too Complex (out of Locals)" when I try to evaluate it in "execution mode".
If I try to evaluate / start the same Report in "debug mode" the Report Runs perfectlly and returns the expected Results.
Why this is happening, can anyone help / have ideias to resove this issue?
Recived answer for this Issue from ARIS Support:
"The reason for this error is, that the script contains a function which is longer than 64k. The JavaScript debugger runs as an interpreter, so the problem does not occur. But when the report is started from the explorer the script is compiled, the compiler cannot deal with single functions being longer than 64kB, so the compilation fails. Solution: The programmer should not write this kind of spaghetti-code and use smaller functions instead."
In my case what has happened:
I had a real big function that generated 26 XML files, with ARIS Support answer, I created "sub functions for each XML output and the error disapeared
