Hello,
I have a problem not being able to export in ARIS Express a diagram I created.
I get the message "Out of memory" when I try to save the diagram as PDF.
Nothing happens when I try to export the file as graphic jpg/png.
Please help me with some suggestions because it's a modeled process that was quite time consuming (like all complex processess are), and I need to present it up the management ladder.
The file is attached.
Thank you very much,
Alex
Dear Alexandru,
Did you already try the both tips in this post?

Hi Alexandru,
I tested your file on my ARIS Express version. I also get an "out of memory" error. I never had this with other models. As other option you can use the RTF format. That is working. In the RTF document you have the model as embedded picture. But there you can see the problem. The model is too large to create a picture that is readable or printable.
How do you want to present it to your management?
I recommend to split the model using the process interface with horizontel segmentation or alternatively the functional decomposition with vertical segmentation. In general the best way is to model hierarchically starting with a "big picture" of the process and then going on a second or may be third level into the details. The rule of thumb is, that each single model can be printed out on a DIN A4 paper, which can be presented to your management. Then you will not have any problems with "out of memory".
