If you wanted to lock an activity/ task so only the administrator could change the content including the name, how would you do this?

one option is to move the database objects which should not be edited to a separate folder in the ARIS navigation, where only the administrator has writing rights. One thing to keep in mind for this approach though is, that all users still need read access to the particular folder, else they will not see the item in the process. Also users can still delete the occurrence from processes. This approach only prevents changes of object attributes.

Hi With the Lock/Unlock function, the administrator can lock models and/or objects, so that they appear ReadOnly for other modelers. Another interesting way is by creating Change Lists on a versionable database: this does not really lock the models/objects but it keeps track of a particular situation (example: As-Is vs. a To-Be).
