One of my clients recently required an ARIS Architect for SAP 7.2 license. I requested a quote for the SAP add-on from SAG, but instead received a quote for a complete license including the Architect. I send it back stating we have an Architect license they can upgrade and was told that SAG does not sell the add-on separately anymore. You can imagine the price difference! Personally I feel that to be the wrong approach and not in my client's best interest. Apparently you can still buy the add-on only for version 9, but not for 7 anymore? That does not make any sense, as the ARIS license structure for 7 did not change...
Have any of you experienced the same thing before (especially for recent purchases)?
