There is a slowness issue in our environment, i.e., user when opens the first model in ARIS Designer it is taking longer time to open and then the rest of the models takes normal time.
Can anyone help me on why the first model takes longer time when compared to other models. I know it is taking some time to load some items for the first time but I'm not sure what.
So I would like to know what are the things which loads while opening the model.

Hi,
well, if you work with an ARIS model, more than just the model data is loaded.
ARIS loads available fonts, and the template to the client. In addition, the ARIS methodology is initialized the first time, the model is loaded. This all is only necessary to do one time (first load of a model) and makes working with ARIS faster afterwards.
In addition, ARIS client only initializes the components you really need. If you do not need the designer, the component is not initialized but only the first time you access it.
If ARIS did not behave like that, starting ARIS would take a lot longer.
