Hi,

I am modelling in ArchiMate in ARIS Architect and want to be able to use the official ArchiMate symbols. I am unable to change the Symbol Palette however on one of my databases as the drop down to do so is greyed out. I have full permissions on the database.

Please could someone let me know why this palette is disabled and how I can enable it?

Thanks

Hello,

the symbol palette is not what you need to change. This will change your whole database from ARIS 9/10 symbol palette to the classic ARIS 7.2 symbol palette. To use the original Archimate symbols you rather have to import a filter with the original archimate symbols. You can find it on the installation media at

Content\ArchiMate v3.0\Symbols\ArchiMate 3.0 symbols - official style.filter

Also consult the Readme.txt in that directory for further details.
