Hi all.
I have created a bubble chart that plots business applications based on, for example, cost against number of users. The bubbles all appear in the right places, at the right size and colour. However, I need to overlay the application name onto each so that a consumer of the report can see which applications are which without having to hover a mouse over each one. I can't see a way to do this - am I missing something?
Thanks in advance!
Dan.
Hello Dan,
unfortunately, it is not possible to overlay the criterion onto the bubbles. Even the user-defined tooltip is only displayed on "mouse-over". What you can do to permanently display the criterion is activating the legend. Please see the screenshot below.
Hope this helps...
Best regards,
Gerhard
Yes, Dan, that is definitely true!
On the other hand, a chart with so many bubbles is probably hardly comprehensible even when the names are displayed permanently. You could also think about clustering the chart a bit. For example you could use an additional criterion, application type for instance, that allows you to aggregate a KPI in a pie chart and you could then use the pie chart resp. the selected segment to filter the bubble chart. Just an idea :)
