Hello,
According to the modelling conventions for Automation, an extended EPC is available in the PG module, which is then transformed into BPMN to be executed in the Process Governance engine.
Please correct me if I misunderstood anything.
If it turns out, I understood this right my questions are:
1. Is it possible to model straight in BPMN 2 to execute the processes?
If no:
2.A. Is this possibility planned?
2.B. Is it possible to model in BPMN 1 so that the processes are executed straight?
Thank you in advance for your help.
Kind regards
Eddy
It is possible to model straight in BPMN 2 (model type) in ARIS which can then be executed.

Hi Mr. Mr. Vinay Agarkhed,
Thank you very much for looking into the matter.
In fact my question relates to BPMN2 diagrams, modelled in ARIS and executed in the Process Governance tool.
Can you please share how these can be executed in Process Governance server?
Thank you in advance.
Kind regards.
Eddy
Hello Eddy,
APG allows automation of governance workflow with specific model types using a transformation mechanism. It is indeed an extended eEPC model type combined with dataflow diagram and a range of pre defined ARIS webservices, dialog, ...
You do not have to model in BPMN 2.x as there is a transformation applied once you want to transfer your APG concept (eEPC) into executable processes. The transformation will produce the BPMN models on the APG server, allowing the execution of your governance processes.
So to answer your question 1 - today you do not model in BPMN 2.x for APG as it will create BPMN technical models based on eEPC automatically.
I am not sure if it is planned in the future, this is more product development to answer.
