Hello Julie,
AFAIK there is only this custom code How to create ARIS Connect link via scripting which shows how to concatenate an URL to the item view of Connect.
Even if you don't use the suggested function compressGUID() Connect server still resolves a model URL with an uncompressed model GUID. It works fine for me on Connect 10.0.7.
