ARIS Client 7.1 SR5.
When I try to open a model in a specific database, the client appears to work on opening the model (mouse cursor turns to hourglass) but after 15 to 30 seconds, the mouse pointer turns back to an arrow but the model is not visible. There are no error messages.
Other background information:
1) I had no problems in opening models in this database for the past several weeks. However, in thinking about this situation, I recall starting to have intermittent problems opening models a few days ago. I would click on the model in the designer tree, mouse pointer turns to hourglass, then a few seconds later the mouse pointer turns back to arrow but model is not open. Thinking that I did not really click on the model, I doubled click again and this time the model would open. Now it seems consistent that I cannot open models in this database.
2) I asked colleagues to open the models I could not. They are able to open the models without any problems.
3) I do not encounter any problems in opening models in other databases on the same ARIS server. The problem is only with this one specific database and I am the only one having problems opening models.
Right now I'm thinking this is not an issue with the ARIS server but potentially an issue with my local client. I suspect some local information (cache) on my client installation has been corrupted for this particular database.
Is there a command or set of instructions that allow me to reset local configuration information for a specific database?
Any guidance will be appreciated.
Thank you.
