Hello,
I noticed that for an implicit connection there isn't any occurences but it still appears in the relationships tab of the object and after clicking on it I'm unable to get the edit window to check its properties etc.
I've generated a report that extracts relationships between object definitions and this implicit connection didnt reflect there. Can someone pls give ans to my below queries ?
1)What could be the reason for its freeze ?
2) Is it possible to remove this connection? If yes, then how ?
3) If it is existing ,then what could be the reason it didnt reflect in the output of the report I created ?
4)What is the difference between this and other types of connections(that has occurences) ?
Implicit connections exist due to the fact of an occurrence of an object inside a model that is assigned to another object. E. g. this way you automatically build a hierarchy of functions, when you model an EPC that is assigned to a Value added chain symbol in a value added chain diagram.
You can navigate these implicit connections in the client, although they are not actual connections, hence they have no properties. There is no connection definition you could report on. They rather are an expression of "is occurring in an assigned model" relationship or vice-versa "occurs in a model that is assigned to that object". These implicit connections show up for some specific sets of objects types with certain assigned model types that have certain occurrences of particular object types. You cannot configure this behaviour.
You may consider this as a reporting feature that eases navigation in the model landscape.
