Unable to connect to database server. Check the hostname and port that you specified. Further, make sure that the database server is actually up and running and that access to the database server is not blocked by a firewall.

Are you using some VPN to access your Cloud ? .. does other users has the same issue or only for you ? are you using the download client or connect ?
What you could try is to close the ARIS and delete the java cache from the java option available in control panel, and also the cache of the browser and try again.
