We have had a problem with ARIS 9.8, and is not possible to visualize the diagram in the modeling window. Starting ARIS, we can see every window (properties, navigation, symbols...) but not the model window. Even the model overview is shown, but not the entire diagram.
After a while, if we conceal some of these Windows and try to show them again, it doesn't work properly and it's not possible to show then again.
Please, let us know if there is some option to configure the screen and modeling zone, or what could be the source of our problem.

Regarding to our problem, and only in case I can help anybody with a similar problem, finally we had to reinstall the Aris client, and with this everything worked properly again.

We had something similar in 9.8.2. Most of the time restarting ARIS would leave the system not showing diagrams. A reboot of the server would fix it. In our case we got this error "java.sql.SQLRecoverableException: IO Error: Connection reset" in /xxx/cloudagent/work/work_copernicus_m/base/logs/copernicus.portal.server.log. After some investigation we concluded it was the breakdown of /dev/random at least on a Linux box. My workaround is to delete every log and temp file then clear out ipcs stuff. Its working well now.
