Hi,
I want to exclude certain models/groups from being published in my publisher export. I can see how to do this in an HTML export from documentation I have found online, but how do I do it in a regular publisher export?
Many thanks to anyone who responds.
Luise
Hi,
If you want to exclude certain model type you can do it through filter.
If you want to exclude certain models/folders make sure the user group does not have access to the models/folders.
Please check business publisher manual.
Let me know if it is still unclear.
Thanks

Hi,
I'm afraid it is still unclear. I know how to exclude use of models in the filter in ARIS business designer and ARIS IT designer, I do not want to exclude them. I want to be able to draw models and NOT publish them to the publisher server. At the moment the whole database is published, including the 'work in progress' models and models that are confidential.
Thanks,
Luise
Hi Luise,
All the published content is managed by the access rights the usergroup you are using have. If you do not allow read permission on a specific group, that group will not appear in the published content. (but only if you access the content using the said group)
There is a very handy user guide on the CD that can show you all the requirements for the publisher. "quick_start_guide_aris_bpub_s.pdf"
Thx,
Francois
