Hi together,
my colleague and I have tried to add multiple assignments to an Object.
In the Administrational settings under Object types I'm not able to select Multiple Assignments for the Object "Function" - everything is grayed out (see attachment).
Is there a way to activate the checkboxes ?

Hi Marius,
in fact, this is not possible. The reason for that is the BPMN standard itself. One important aspect of BPMN is the design of processes that can be interpreted by a workflow execution engine. Allowing multiple assignments would lead to uncertainty on which assigned process should be executed, which is not allowed by the standard. Hence, ARIS do not allow to configure that due to (1) conformance reason and (2) effects on the standard BPMN export.

I do understand your point but was this a change from ARIS 9.7 to ARIS 10 ? - I'm still able to activate multiple assignments in the same model with the same filter in ARIS 9.7.
