Hello all,
does anyone have experience with connecting the Process Maps in Aris to Business Process Documentation, that is managed in MS365?
We are in need of a solution that supports process mapping AND documentation (instructions, quality documents, ...) AND documentation management (ownership, approvals, expiry dates).
ARIS is already implemented in our company, and to connect the processes with the documentation, it would be really good to have Aris as the one stop shop.

Hi Marlies,
We have a report that does exactly what you are describing (e.g.: generating specific SOPs from ARIS content) However, we don't use MS365 for that, we use another DMS system that was developed in Tampere, Finnland.
If you are interested, I can share some insights.
Best,
Veronika
Marlies,
It depends on what kind of integration you need for your Process Architecture. The simplest way is through attributes in ARIS, when you, for example, have your doc library in MS, and refers to that docs through ARIS system attributes. Or there could be something like data scheme exchange (e.g. statuses, approvers, date etc.) by web-service/xml and then updating the data in ARIS by API or ARIS scripts. That all depends on your real needs.

Hello Marlies,
the SR20 help mentions an ARIS Adapter for MS SharePoint 2016 + 2019 as a way to use an external DMS instead Aris Document Storage.
