Hi,
I have been evaluating MashZone 2.0 (free version) and am having issues getting it to work with our proxy server.
I have configured the proxy server via the Administrator > Server Settings > Proxy server settings page. However whenever I attempt to use an Internet resource as the source of a Data Feed, I get the following error:
Unable to establish connection to resource "[URL]". Status "407 - Proxy Authentication Required" is returned.
I have tried many combinations of username and password for the proxy configuration and they work in other applications.
My only thought is that our proxy server uses NTLM authentication, which isn't being properly supported by MashZone's use of the Apache HttpClient.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Martin
Hello Martin,
your are right.
NTLM-Authentication against the proxy server is not supported by MashZone.
It supports BasicAuthentication, that enables you to deposit on single login/password bundle in the proxy configuration area. A personalised authentication, like ntlm normally does, that uses the dedicated credentials of the domain user currently logged in, is not assisted.
Kind regards
Thomas
