Hello Mauro,
connecting the JDBC operator to a PostgreSQL DB might be problematic with the version you mentioned. The problem is that Mashzone's backend runs a PostgreSQL DB as well and if you add another PostgreSQL JDBC driver to your installation, it will probably conflict with the existing backend driver.
Later versions of Mashzone allow to run the backend against an Oracle or MS SQL Server database. On such systems you can simply add an up-to-date PostgreSQL JDBC driver to the ".../mashzone_data/jdbcdrivers" folder. I've tried it with "postgresql-9.2-1002.jdbc4.jar".
