Hi,

well, that is easy: right-click onto the symbol and choose "Properties" -> you will see the property page of that object. There, you can change different things, also the representation.

Bye,

Frank

HI Frank

Thanks for the valuable advice. but the above method will change the Symbols colour, right?? I wanted to change the font colour of the Symbol. Example if there is a  symbol named "Manager", then symbol's background colour should be red while the font colour of "Manager" should be in white. Can I do this?

Hi Nelson.

Pardon me, did not get the point.

You can easily change the font settings by using the buttons in the toolbar:

But you can do more: every letter of the symbol name or every other text attribute can be change. In the attribute window but also directly in the model (context menu on selected text, when you're in edit model), you can change the formatting of the text.

Frank

Hi Frank,

is there a way in ARIS Express to change the default font permanently for all documents?

Thanks,

Klaus

Hi,

that possibility does not exist. For that, you'd need to use templates, which you do not have in Express.

Hi Frank,

well, that surely would be a nice feature. But I guess we have to have some incentive to migrate to ARIS professional...

On a related topic: Under "Home/Ansicht/Optionen/Für neue Modelle/Darstellung" one can select "Texte freistellen" as the default for a new model. If I select that and create a model, I cannot find an way to undo that effect in the created model.

Is there a way to do that?

Thanks & Best regards,

Klaus

Hi,

sure, that is easy: just open the property page for the model (context menu -> Properties), and then you can set the value for the specific model, in the page "Representation".
