Hi All,

I have faced login issue in ARIS 9.6. I am LDAP user and I am able to login ARIS Designer with my LDAP credentials. 

But yesterday while I am trying to login ARIS Designer I got the below error message after enter my LDAP credentials.

UNABLE TO ESTABLISH CONNECTION. PLEASE CHECK THE USERNAME, PASSWORD AND TENANT.

And I checked my id in ARIS UMC. Previously my id have LDAP user symbol. But now it looks like normal user id. I have deleted my id and recreate in ARIS UMC. But also the id looks like normal userid. There is no LDAP symbol.

I have checked with LDAP team and they confirmed that there is no issue with my LDAP id and it is active.

I have surprised that my LDAP id works fine with all other applications except  ARIS Designer.

Could someone please help me to solve this issue. I need to login ARIS Designer as soon as possible.

Dear Nisha,

If you account was imported via LDAP import from your company's AD, you probably need to do that again. Also, assign directly the necessary ARIS Designer license either directly to your user account or via a user group.

And check your local log file in %UserProfile%\ARIS90\log and the ARIS Design/Connect Server's log files for more details about the failed login. If you did not install ARIS by yourself, ask your ARIS administrator to follow up.

If that won't help, you need to open a support ticket for Global Support ARIS via Empower, because via this community it's hard to track down the root cause of your issue.

Have you synchronised your ARIS users with LDAP since you recreated the ID?

Could you please advice how can we synchronise ARIS user with LDAP?

In UMC, when select the user name there is an option called synchronize with LDAP. I have clicked that option. But no luck so far.

Today another ARIS user faced the same issue. I have checked in UMC and confirmed that still she is an LDAP user. But she got the below error message.

Unable to establish connection. please check the username,password and tenant.

Could you please advice how to fix this issue ASAP
