problem executing updatesystem on runnable isntance abs_m: following errors.. this line

PS... impossible to load a screen copy, message "The specified file error migration tenant.gif could not be uploaded. The file is 43.48 KB exceeding the maximum file size of 32 bytes."... 32 bytes is perhaps a bit low for an image ;-o)
thanks a lot... the answer is clear in the log !
GRAVE: Servlet.service() for servlet [login] in context with path [/abs] threw exception [Missing license for tenant: 'insa4if'
however, the existing licence for 97 ended the 2015-10-22... ???
the cause is perhaps that we changed the server name (a virtualized one) from vmaris2015 to vmaris2016 to be able easily to go back in case of problems...
Checking this log, i discover a new big issue... the updating from 97 to 98 was OK, and the default tenant is running well with 98... but when i check directories... the C:\SoftwareAG\ARIS9.8 is quite empty, and all is still in C:\SoftwareAG\ARIS9.7 ...
perhaps it's normal, but strange.. !
Do u think i have better to restart with the old vm server... ?

Dear Alain,
Of course, before updating a multi-tenancy ARIS environment it's recommended that everything is properly before starting the update.
Changing the computer name could trouble ARIS unless you reconfigure loadbalancer with the new name.
Updating ARIS doens't change the installation folder. I advice people when installing ARIS the first time to drop the suggested name and rather choose a version independent folder name, such as C:\SoftwareAG\ARIS9, or simply C:\ARIS9.
It's difficult from a distance to give you the best possible advice.
You should try to get support from Software AG, although you are using a university license without support service. It could be that you ran into a bug with the attempt to update your multi-tenancy environment. Global Support ARIS will help you to solve that issue in that case.
Cheers
Rune
dear rune,
thanks for your advice regarding tenants. But i do not find any way to manage acces rights on ARIS scripts in one tenant... And with 200 Students of 2 faculty, i prefer to separate their scripts...
regarding loadbalancer, i do not find any documentation, except help, but without details on "enhance" command... if you know a command like "enhance loadbalancer with newservername... ;-o)

pam
Well, handling multi-tenancy isn't typically done by the end-user but mostly configured by a consultant of Software AG or its implementation partners. For you I recommend to attend the 3-day training course "ARIS Server Installation".
I am not aware that access privileges are available for ARIS report scripts.
When the computer name has been changed where ARIS servers are installed, I would tell load balancer with this ACC command:
reconfigure loadbalancer_m +HTTPD.servername="MyNewARISserver" +zookeeper.application.instance.host="MyNewARISserver"

Dear Raydu,
What was your command line to backup your tenant?
The hash symbol # isn't needed for that command. Only in the URL you need to specify to which tenant you want to log in.
Example for ARIS Cloud Controller command backup tenant:
backup tenant default to "C:/backup_tenant_default.zip" username=system password=manager
Cheers
