Hello
the installation of ARIS 10 was correct and updatessytemdb on default tenant ok...
but when restoring a tenant, i have an error...(exit code -3)
herewith screencopy of ACC
What is the correct process...
1 recreate tenant on server 10
2. restore tenant from backup of server 9 to server 10
3. updatesystemdb for tenant ?
is that the correct sequence ?
thanks in advance
pam
Dear pam,
Are the included ARS license keys in your insa4if tenant backup file unique?
I mean those keys are NOT already used in #default.
In doubt, import the license keys first after creating your tenant:
enhance umcadmin_m with importLicense local file "C:/ARIS_keys.zip" options tenant.name=insa4if
Cheers
Rune
Dear rune,
thanks for your answer, but if the enhance for licence was OK, the error when restoring tenant is the same...
I have a doubt regarding licences.. because i have licences for testing ARIS Connect, so "tenant wide" licences for ARIS connect viewer, server, ... They are imported in tenant default, and also available in tenant insa4If
But Architect licence imported in tenant default are not available in tenant insa4if...
They are not "tenant wide" licences, so perhaps i have to aks for Architect licence per tenant ?
I suppose if i use ARIS9 licence available in ARIS education package, it'll not work !
best regards,
pam
Maybe you refer to cross-tenant licenses? For that we only have ARIS client keys such as ARIS Architect.
ARIS Server keys must be unique in each tenant. Means, for a 2nd tenant you can't use the same server key again.
Check your licenses via http://localhost/#default/adminLicences and http://localhost/#insa4if/adminLicences.
In the new tenant you also need to assign licenses to the built-in user account "system".
Cheers
Rune
OK, i make a new request for licences.
just to be sure, is the sequence correct to restore a tenant...?
1 create tenant on server 10 and check Architect licences for this tenant (in fact all licences used previously)
2. restore tenant from backup of server 9 to server 10
3. updatesystemdb for tenant ?

pam
