My customer wants to figure out how to put a single Model Type at the time of creating a new model on ARIS Connect.
- First we tried switching the filter from Entire Method to BPMN 2.0 in the Development database.
- Then, logged out and in the corresponding database
- After that, we logged out of ARIS Connect, logged in again
- Verified that we're using the corresponding filter (in this case, BPMN 2.0) but we still have all model type options available.
- We also tried with a test filter containing only one model time and the issue persists.
Any clue of what could it be?

Hello,
in ARIS Architect check which filters the user can use in the database. Go to the Administration tab, open the database, section "User" and open the properties of the user. In the "Filter" section, check which filters the user can use. Make sure, that only the BPMN filter is assigned to the user. If the user has system privileges on the database, he is allowed to use all filters. In this case withdraw the system privilege for the user and assign the desired filter. If the user has got "Database administration" privilege on the tenant, he has system privilege on all databases. Withdraw this privilege as well.
You can assign the filters also via user groups instead of individual users.
