I read the comparison between EPC and BPMN all the time and many of the statements are extremely subjective and lacks proof. So I have decided to develop a mathematical approach to this distinction.

I will not try to prove which one is better or more useful but just the relevance from the ontological perspective. (Not data perspective but ontological perspective). The goal is to characterize the models types mathematically. I will add things to this article and request for public comments. The first one will come in the next couple of days.
