I have a question, beginner in nature, that I would like to bounce off the forum related to model type vs hierarchal level.
Current Structure
Level 1: VACD for Global process Map
Level 2: VACD for Business Process Sector
Level 3: VACD for Business Process Scenarios
Level 4: EPC for business process
Our level 3 is a list of processes represented by a VACD and level 4 is a very detailed EPC containing steps, roles, transaction codes and all possible paths with process interfaces. Our level 3 does not show any flow while level 4 is extremely detailed. My questions are; Is our hierarchy wrong? Is using VACD at level 3 limiting? Should level 3 show a flow with Events, Functions with assignments to more detailed sub- processes. Will we be able to integrate with Solman in the future.
