Hi All

Please can someone tell me how I can change the weight of a connector line, I can change these in the model from  the line weight option but I would like to change it permanntly so i dont have to keep doing this, Any suggestions please?

Hi Stuart,

If you want to apply a specifc layout for every object (connection, symbol, etc.) you need to have administrator rights. With that you need to change the so-called "Template" according to your wishes (you find it in the ARIS Architect under: Administration --> Configuration --> Template --> Available templates).

When you made your modifications to the template, you need to apply those. What I do in such cases is as follows:

1. I search for the affected model type (e.g. EPC).
2. In the search menue of the Architect, I then select all models and do a right click.
3. In the menue that opens, I select Template ==> Reset (that is quite important that you reset all formats before)
4. and then I again right click, and chose the required template.
