Yes, this one is helpful, thank you very much. Personally, I think that the ARIS Community site is a little bit confusing, I would love to see the transition to a real forum like phpbb, which is more user-friendly than the current solution. =)

Our requirements can't be covered by a simle forum software such as phpbb. For example, we won't be able to embed ARIS Express models directly in posts. But I agree with you that we have to work on usuability of the site, but that is always an ongoing task.

Since I am not a regular user of this platform (I will do better in future, promised), could you please show me the ARIS Express model implementation into the posts? I've never seen it before, how does it look like?

I understand. I might be wrong, but the current situation shows a picture of the model and a direct download link to the .adf file, right?

I don't see any reason why this could not be implemented into the current version of phpbb or VBB. Both systems give a preview of the uploads, and also a direct download link. You can define which file types can be uploaded in the administration center.

I have something like this in mind (see screenshot)

This VBulletin software creates a completely separated CMS environment and also comes with a great forum software.

Please consider this as an idea on how to improve this community. =)

Markus, this was just one example of what could not easily be achieved. Besides, usuability doesn't depend on the underlying technology used, but instead on the way the site is designed. In general, we don't view ARIS Community as a simple forum around ARIS.
