Hello Community,
Is there any chance to suppress warning messages? I'm aware of the importance of warning messages, but in my case the change of a text field into a numerical field works fine. But everytime I open the MashBoard, the warning message pops up at the specific table. The converted field contains entries every once in awhile, but not in every row. As a result, not every row can be converted from text to numerical value since there are of course empty rows.
Is there any way how to suppress the warning messages?
Any advice is appreciated :-)
Hi,
users viewing a dashboard my opt-in to hide them. But there is no way to suppress them by default.
However, I suggest to deal with the cause instead. As far as I can tell based on the images provided empty cells are causing the problem. You may define a behavior for them. How to handle a department which has not reported turnover for last quarter? Should 0 be assumed? Or should this department be ignored, i.e. filtered out?
There is a plenty of operators to polish ambiguous data sources.
Regards
Stephan
Dear Stephan,
Thank you very much for your feedback, I could fix the problem by now. I used the "replace value" operator and replaced the "is empty" column with a zero value. Works charming ;-)
Honestly, I still don't know why I couldn't figure it out by myself...probably because I've spent too much time working on the MashBoard :-D
Thanks! :)
