I'm using ARIS 9.8, I added a new language, I exported all my strings using the standard "export for translation" report, translated all my strings, and imported the result using the standard "import translations" report. So far so good.
The result is a translated model, and I can switch languages, but the font size of the translations is different from the original, actually 10, where the original is 8. That makes it nearly unreadable (I have mostly Object Attribute strings and Free-Form text boxes - both go wrong).
Also, any formatting I did (color, bold, underline) inside a text box is lost when switching to my new language. Can someone help me to find what to do to keep the same formatting between languages?
thanks in advance!
Willem
OK, I found the "default font" part - in Administration in my database in "Font Formats" I define the formats, and the definition for the same font can be different per language... useful if you know it.
So only question left - how do I carry personalised formatting (mostly in Free-From text boxes, like underlining and bold) from one language to another (if that is even possible) ?
