Is there any way in ARIS to connect attributes of different classes? I explain myself, I have three different classes, each with its own attribute, I need these three attributes to be connected, when modifying the value of one, be modified in the other two.
P.D.- The value is inside the attribute in a stereotype.
Hi, this question is different from your initial one. You can assign multiple attribute types to an attribute group by editing the attribute type in the method configuration. You can assign multiple attribute groups. This way in an attribute selection dialogue you will find the same attribute in multiple groups.
I do not see how this would help you with your initial problem. An attribute that belongs to an object describes this one object and none else. You can assign the attribute type to multiple object types, but this only means all of these object types can be described by an attribute of that same type.
If you are looking at individual object instances I do not see how they should be able to share attributes. If you have an attribute, that actually is shared by three object instances, you probably identified a fourth object instance all of your 3 object instances have a relationship to. And the (common) attribute is describing for that fourth instance. It's now up to you to identify what that fourth object is, that your attribute describes.
Or are you talking about UML class diagrams?
Hi,
is it an option, that your 3 classes inherit from a superclass, which bears the attribute they should have in common? That would be an alternative to what I suggested in my last paragraph, which similarly could also be applied in UML.
In general, if you have an attribute to an object (including classes) that does not pertain to that object alone, it probably does not really belong to that object, but to something else that you haven't identified, yet, with a name of its own.
