Why the option “Set as start model” is not present in the menu and is replaced with "Technical Information"
My ARIS version is 10.0.16.0.1570546

Thanks for your helping.
Dear Pascal,
With SR16 we offer a completely new layout of the home page in ARIS Enterprise. It's actually the same landing page offered for ARIS Basic and ARIS Advanced.
You can add your favorite start model as one or more diagrams on the home (or landing) page. That gives you more flexibility to offer the ARIS users an easy start into ARIS right after their login.
You can either copy the GUID from Technical information in the Repository view, or much easier, just copy the browser URL of your favorite model and cut the URL at the beginning and the end, just as shown in the example in this dialog:

Well, I haven't seen such an integration yet. Where did you see that?
When using e.g. the IFrame widget you can place any HTML view inside to disply its content on the Home page, but if you try to embedd another ARIS content there you might run into issues when you click on it.

...seems my response to your answer was missing...the view that I attached in the example was as per the home page prior to SR17 update, so it was "out of the box". Unfortunately, I have lost it as while I was playing around with the new home page editor, I selected "Restore default settings" and the default in SR17 aren;t obvioulsy the same as the previous release... :-(
Not sure whether I fully understand your reply. When you update ARIS the configuration/modification set gets migrated (if possible). If you have saved the both as local files, you could restore them.
If you don't have that at hand, your last tenant backup you created prior to the update. You could backup the current tenant as fallback, and then restore only Portal from your backup. But without knowing your ARIS configuration it's hard to tell whether that procedure would bring back your configuration without any side effects.
A support ticket might be more helpful here as you could give more context.
I have another question, please (move to a new thread if required...), the diagram on the home page can be changed for a specific database, but is it possible to change the Component layout / content for each database? For example, one database may require additional / different "Quick Links" (such as a different web site link). Basically a totally different Home page for individual databases.
Thanks :-)
I think this is currently not feasible. But feel free to suggest your idee on ARIS - SHARE YOUR IDEAS (aha.io). Other users could then vote on your idea and Software AG's product manager consider your idea for improvement.
