Context: I have one diagram that shows relations and each element shows (assosciation)  with a diagram

Tools: Aris Design - Archimate on Aris Cloud.

Two questions:

I want to print out the PDF which prints the HLD diagram along with child assosciations among elements ? how can i do this.

Secondly, on embedd iframe i loose out the functionality of zooming on associations which means i cannot drill down diagrams on embedded views for iframe. what am i missing.

Hello Usman,

could you show us an (pseudonymized) example of your model(s) and associations and maybe a mock of what you are expecting as PDF report result?

Also an anonymized screenshot of your second situation would help to understand your problem.

Regards, M. Zschuckelt

Second problem with context:

So please see below more details. There is a parent and child diagram - two different models  - parent refers to child as you can see in the pictures. Now, when i goto confluence and try to share this as iframe i loose out the capability of drilling down the diagram.

Confluence View (its a document tool by Atlassian where we can share visuals ), below is shared as an iframe

Now for first problem, i just want to generate a PDF for the parent diagram along with the child diagram in one pdf. as of now i cannot do this and i need to export myself and merge the PDF myself eventhough the parent diagram has assosications

Hello Usman,

I don't think there is a report doing exactly that, but there is one that you could adapt to your requirements: "Output functions across multiple assignment levels". You would have to change it so it follows the hierarchy of the object types you need (here: application system type) and includes the model types you are using (here: Archimate layered viewpoint). The source code of the report is accessible in ARIS Architect, so you could duplicate the report and start off from there.

If you have no experience in scripting yourself, ask someone who does or enquire with Software AG or one of our partners for a quote.
