How do I automatically generate one letter (RASCI) to show the responsibility of an actor in a function allocation diagram?
When I create a connection I specify for instance: "is technically responsible for". I want automatically that an "R" is being set, as a displayable property of that connection.

A poor man's way to do this might be to create single letter graphics (amf) for each connection type and then assign those symbols to the connection attributes. After that change your template, so that the connection type will be shown automatically - in the attribute placement dialog chose "as symbol" as visualization (instead of text).
This still allows you to run the report that Eva mentioned.
We have a customized report solution that we run on our fads that does the following:
1. fills in attribute (short name) of connection based on connection type
e=executes/carries out , r=responsible, c=contributes, i=informed, a=accepts
2. places this attribute at a specified location (above connector at end by the person type object)
These 2 steps could be done manually, but would be time consuming for all person type/person objects in our fads.
I run this on a batch of fads at a time, it is a huge lifesaver and people like to see the connection displayed.
