Hello everyone.
There is one more problem with technical side of MashZone...
I can't delete certain MashApp. I've got an error about "Could not commit JPA transaction."
I've attached MashZone.log to this article.
I'd like to listen your opinion about this situation and how can i fix it?
Thanks a lot,
Vitaliy.
Hello Vitaliy,
this issue appears very rarely and may be caused by shutting down Mashzone straight, e.g. killing the console window when mashzone is running as an application. If this happens during an store interaction, a mashapp might maintain some kind of inactive artefacts that do not harm the normal functionalities but prevent the deletion of the mashapp.
In my opinion, you are not easily able to resolve this problem of the internal data structure.
All you can do is to export all your mashapps, reset the database and afterwards importing your mashapps again. But be aware, that all aditional users and shares will be lost!!! After database reset you will have again an almost initial mashzone installation.
At the moment, probably the most convenient solution is to simply ignore this mashapp.
Best regards
Thomas
Hello,
i must correct my previous statement a little bit. This issue has been treated already.
Having a deeper look in your attached logfile, i recognize you must be using an earlier mashzone version than 2.0. Is that right?
So please upgrade to our latest release and try to delete the mashapp again.
Best regards
Thomas
