I am new to ARIS and my requirement is I have few architecture artifacts developed with diff rent tools in format such as MS word, PowerPoint, excel , Visio and PDF. So could anyone help me to
1. understand on how can I build ARIS based repository
2. transfer or put those artifacts as-is in repository.
3. Also what would be the correct way re-create those in ARIS or put as-is. I prefer to create those so would like to know on what tools, techniques dose ARIS supports...

Usually these Artifacts could be imported as Object Ole into a Model just to refer in such modeling. These Object Ole supports these MS files and will keep the same format as well for example Word.. Excel. You can looking for more information in this community about these Ole objects.
Also you can import Microsoft Visio 2007, Visio 2010, Visio 2013 files of the *.vdx and *.vsdx types to ARIS.
You can change the assignment of Visio diagrams and shapes to ARIS model types and symbols.
- Go in the Administration - Evaluations - Report - Visio Import
- Select "Import Visio VDX files" - context menu - properties
- check option "available to users"
- open a database
- choose the group for the import - context menu
- evaluate - report
- Select "Import Visio VDX files"
Configure mapping
- Go in the Administration - Evaluations - Report - Visio Import
- Choose mapping.xml
- Context menu - edit
