Hello,

We are using 9.8 Design Server using embedded database (i.e Postgresql).

We want to upgrade to use Oracle 11g.

Do I need to setup separate Design Server with oracle in different server and then perform export/import?

Is there way to change existing setup configuration with oracle database details?

Can anyone help by providing the procedures for same?

Dear Pranav,

Have you asked Global Support ARIS via Empower/eService how to change your DBMS?

I am sure that has been answered already.

Hi Rune,

Thanks for your reply. I have contacted ARIS Global Support. They saying changing database is not supported.

So I need to take backup and re-install design server with Oracle and restore content.
