Starting with 3 developers in Saarbrücken (Saarland) ARIS became the world’s leading tool for managing and analyzing business processes in a digital world. Starting with the limited technology of the early 90s, where a fax machine was state of the art, ARIS developed further always using latest technologies. So ARIS is now available also as a cloud service supporting a wide range of enterprise use cases like e.g. Internet of Things and Visual Analytics.
Several millions of ARIS users and an active online community of nearly 500.000 ARIS friends show the world wide success of the software made in Saarbrücken. And with our university program we guarantee that also the next generation of ARIS users will be well-trained.
With the success of ARIS, also the development team has grown significantly. And the 3 developers have got a lot of new colleagues. But till this day Saarbrücken is the center of innovation for ARIS.
With the developers of the first version but also with well-wishers like ARIS partners and other long-term business associates from more than nine different countries we will celebrate its 25th birthday on May 30th in Saarbrücken. And we are proud and happy that also our Minister President Annegret Kramp-Karrenbauer will give her greetings to the success story starting in Saarland:
