Content-Type Configuration installation

The ONE Standard Foundation provides separate Content-Type Configurations for ARIS Enterprise, ARIS Enterprise Public Cloud and ARIS Advanced. All are included in the ONE Standard – Foundation – INSTALL SET – 1.SRx and are also available as individual files in the ARIS Download Center.
Ensure that you import the configuration matching your ARIS edition — the edition is clearly indicated in the file name.

    • Either: "For ARIS ENTERPRISE - ONE Standard - Foundation - Content Type Configuration (vX.Y.Z)"

Troubleshooting

  • Accelerator installation failed – filter already exists

During installation, you may encounter an error such as:
“Import of filter ‘Process Documentation (ONE Standard)’ failed: The default convention with the GUID already exists and won't be overwritten.”

    prompt: filter overwriting failed

This occurs because a previous version of the filter already exists in the system.

    To resolve the issue:

    1. Open ARIS Administration
    2. Navigate to Configuration → Conventions → Filters
    3. Locate “Process Documentation (ONE Standard)”
    4. (Optionally: Backup or duplicate this filter version)
    5. Delete the existing filter manually
    6. Restart the accelerator installation
  • Accelerator installation cannot be started – databases already exist

The installation may be blocked with a message such as:
“At least one database already exists on the system. Rename or delete the relevant databases and import this accelerator again.” Additionally, entries like the following may appear: “The database already exists.”

    prompt: database exists

    To resolve the issue:

    1. Open ARIS Administration and navigate to Configuration → Databases
    2. Locate the existing databases:
      1. CONVENTIONS and EXAMPLES – ONE Standard
      2. PROJECT TEMPLATE – ONE Standard
    3. Either:
      1. Rename both databases (a small change, e.g. adding a suffix, is sufficient), or
      2. Backup and delete the databases
    4. Ensure the original names are no longer in use
    5. Restart the accelerator installation
