Help > ARIS Express > Create model > Change connection alignment

Change connection alignment

You can change the alignment of connections later.

  1. Click on the desired connection. Your anchor points are shown at the source and target object.
  2. Move the mouse pointer to the relevant anchor point.
  3. Click on the anchor point and hold the mouse button down.
  4. Move your mouse pointer along the border of the object and release the mouse button at the desired anchor point.

The connection alignment is modified.

  • If you have switched on the grid as an aid to modeling, the connection anchor points are shown according to their grid settings.
  • You can influence the connection alignment from the moment you create connections. Click on the anchor point of the source object and then on the positions in the model through which you want the connection to run. Then click on the connection anchor point of the target object.
