Hello, ARIS Friends!
Does you faced with following situation in ARIS Connect. I would like create new occurence for object on open model. When I try did it, ARIS shows a drop-down with similar named objects that are already existing. But some times it is not suitable for user.
Can I turn-off this drop-down list? May be someboardy know special command for ARIS Admin for turn-off this setting?
BR, Anna.

Hello Anna,
first, I do not know a (hidden) comand to switch off the display of the drop down list, and as nowbody reacted to your post I guess this functionality is not available. And I think it does not make sense.
As you know in ARIS objects, first time used in a model, are automatically saved as elements in the repository to "force" the modeler to use the repository. Later on the modeler can based on the drop down list decide to use it as occurence or create again a new one as definition copy with the same name.
I think this is the basic issue: In other tools e.g. it is an explicit action to save an object as "repository object". All available objects then presented as list in a seperate window for reusing. What kind of functionality is the better solution handling objects in a repository is a matter of disputing.
