Hello everyone,
I have installed ARIS Business server 7.2 and ARIS IT architect 7.2 on my sever machine. I have followed the instructions as per the "ARIS server installation and adminisatration" manual. I am able to launch the ARIS client however I am unable to connect to the server. It gives me an error "Unable to connect to server. there is no service available for the port you specified".
I am using oracle as DB for both business server and business publisher.The oracle DBA has run the install.bat which i have provided, successfully on oracle server.
During installation I have specified the correct oracle details: server name, port number and SID.
Also After installation, I went and checked the lockservice.cfg file and confirmed the url for oracle connection. Also i changed the arisadm_user and aris_admschema as per the envset.bat file which was customisedand provided to oracle DBA.
I started the services and tried connecting to server, however it is not connecting and gives me an error mentioned above.
I am unable to find out what has caused the error, and the reason i am not able to connect.
Do i need to perform the installation again? or is it the oracle error?
When i checked the log files, i could see only admin agent text documents. the adminagent_server0 is pasted below.
Request support in this. Any kind of help is appreciated
