We will be starting our ARIS-SolMan Sync project but have encounter some issues during our tests. The intention is to bring SAP BPR contents into ARIS, reuse the BPR elements in our models and then sync ARIS models back to SolMan for configuration. We have no problem to establish the link between SolMan and ARIS, which includes creating a project in SolMan, transferring the project into ARIS, creating models following the conventions, and sync the models back to SolMan while there's no BPR elements. However, the synchronization fails every time when the BPM elements are inserted into the level 5 models, either use occurrence copy or definition copy. We have tried the following ways to bring BPR contents into ARIS:
1. Using ARIS Transfer Repository or Transfer Scenario
2. Creating a seperate project in SolMan to import the BPR contents and then sync with ARIS, which means that we have two project in ARIS and SolMan, one for our project and another one for BPR contents
3. Bringing BPR scenarios into our project in SolMan and then sync with ARIS. In this way, the BPR contents falls within our project structure in the ARIS
Unfortunately none of the ways works. There is always some kind of error. My question: is there anything wrong with the aforementioned methods? What is the best practice?
Thanks in advanced!
