Can a new fragment be installed? I would like to see an event-function-event, etc fragment be made available and I would expect that I could remove the e-f-f-f fragment that is currently available.
thanks
donald
Hi Donald,
yes, sure, this is possible.
To remove fragments: just right-click (context menu) onto the fragment -> Remove.
Do create a fragment: just create the structure you'd like to have as a fragment in a model and select them, right click -> Create fragment...
...and you're done.
Bye,
Frank
Hi Donald,
it is not possible to do a central deployment of ARIS Express. Also, the ARIS Express license requires that every user has a valid ARIS Community account. I think you are looking for a professional tool for enterprise modelling and not for a BPM starter tool such as ARIS Express. I doubt that ARIS Express is the right tool for your setting.
All the new features like process fragments will be added to the professional ARIS tools, too. Within those tools, you will be able to centrally define the fragments available and to do a central deployment.
Regards,
Sebastian
Will ARIS Express license require Community account when Express goes into production? It is not a problem for me.
I envisioned Express as a tool that would help expand basic modeling capabilities to more of my potential modelers. I do not need enterprise modeling capabilities, I just need to be able to support/control modeling conventions.
Let's see how things develop.
thanks
