Hello Community!

I am trying to get data from ARIS to Alfabet. But I am getting some troubles with the Interoperability between them.

So, I am following the documentation steps and I am not being able to map ARIS objects to Alfabet objects. The Alfabet option on ARIS side is unavailable.

(I've attached a pic to show)

Someone knows how can I solve the problem?

Hi,

did you check the licenses? The user needs to have the appropirate license in UMC.

Did you maintain the attribute of the database to the alfabet server?

Hi,

I think the licenses are the problem.

So why there are two licenses for alfabet? Is this some kind of internal developer server?

Uhm.. I don't know, I've asked my boss for the Interoperability licenses and he gave me those two xD

I am working on a client who asked me to communicate ARIS and Alfabet, but I was trying to communicate first on my machine.

Maybe their licenses are different

Hi,

since there is a support call for this issue, I suppose we will continue to care about this issue within the call. So if we found out, what the problem was, I think I can mention this afterwards in this post, so possibly, if other customer experience the same issue, the solution can be found.

Please post details on integrating ARIS and alfabet and your lessons learnt or how this issue is fixed

Hello Rayudu!

I've talked to Software AG support and they told me, on ARIS side to follow ARIS help instructions (I attached a picture to show you) and on Alfabet side you can follow the ARIS-Alfabet_Interoperability.pdf doc.

So, once both software are in different machines you should be able to access the Alfabet Application in ARIS machine and ARIS Connect in Alfabet machine - and I wasn´t.

I am not able to connect them yet but once I have news I will let you know.
