Does anyone else use a custom workflow that publishes to a separate DB than where the model was created? I am struggling to understand why this is the preferred path vs. using the same DB as the model and just publish to a 'Published' folder?

Hi Beth,
I guess most bigger customers use a custom workflow to publish into a separate database. I believe the "one database" approach is valid if you just get started because it reduces complexity. However, as your BPM grows, the need for two or even three databases increases.
The folder approach, however does not work, because you do not only publish the model, you also publish the objects therein.
