Updating objects through an application

Can an ARIS object be updated through an application using ARIS APIs? For example, can we develop an application on our SAP WAS that could automatically update an ARIS object at the end of the process? Are ARIS APIs available?

Yes it is possible to code a macro script that would do this for you. The script can be triggered from outside sources and also read/feat data into ARIS.
