I want to change the type of any object like from position to organizational unit, but i don´t know how to do it. Someone who knows about it please help me. thanks you

Hola Jhojan,
it is possible to change object types but it needs good planning and should be tested on a copy of your database first.
The standard report script under Administration/"Replace object types" is by default only executble with Aris Architect and replaces all object definitions of a type, their occurrences in models and connections throughout a database.
A useful tool to analyze existing occurrences and connections of f.ex. positions objects is the report "Output object information (for MashZone)".
If you open your database without a method filter (entire method),
search for all positions and run the report on them you get tables of all occurrences per connection type in Excel.
Then you can prepare the mappping to the corresponding connection types of org. units. This will be necessary input for the report "Replace object types".

Hi,
The symbol must be of the same type. Otherwise you cannot change it; eg. an activity can be changed from manual process step to interface, ... but you cannot change it to event.
